It i important to understand that there is a difference between changing currency for the reservation and collecting payment in a different currency.
CHANGING CURRENCY IN THE RESERVATION
You can change the currency of the booking in the PRICING tab, as long as the booking is not checked -in.
The system first checks if you have the prices set up for this room for another currency in Manage / Rooms & Rates.
If the prices are not set up for the currency, then the system will use the exchange rate from Admin / Accounts and recalculates the price automatically.
CHARGING GUEST IN DIFFERENT CURRENCY
Whenever you charge the guest, and you set up accounts in different currencies, you can change the currency and request the payment in another currency.
The system will recalculate requested amount according to the exchange rate from Admin / Accounts.
