There are three ways of creating group bookings. The process is very similar to creating standard individual bookings. See how to create bookings here.
1) Open Bed View. Choose the beds you want to create a booking on, right click on them and click Create reservation:
In the New Reservation window, change the booking type from Individual to Group booking in the Basic information section.
An extra field will appear in this section: Group Owner Name. Add the group name in the first filed, and next add group contact details that will work as a main guest and booking owner.
Adjust the necessary details, like price, guest number or rooms, and click on Save or Save and Close.
2) The second option is by using the New Reservation button which you can find in two places:
The difference is that in this option you need to choose the check-in and the check-out dates:
And also you need to add the rooms. Click on the Add Room Type button and choose the rooms which you would like to assign to the reservation.
Add other reservation and guest details and remember to save the changes!
3. The third option is the Quick Booking feature which you can find under Book button in the main FrontDesk Master menu.
Select the group booking dates, and next choose beds and rooms. Click on Create Booking button.
Next, in Create New Reservation view, add the group name and group contact details. Click on Create Booking button to add reservation. Once done, the booking will appear on Bed View.
How can I see all my group bookings made for a selected period?
Go to the Bookings list and in the Booking Types filter uncheck Individual box and leave only the Group box checked. Select the dates you are interested in and click Go. The system will show you all your group bookings for the dates you need.
