Once you have configured your sale items as meals, you can sell them at the Point of Sale. Meal items can be sold to guests or without any reservation.
Meal items in POS will be indicated with a ? (cutlery) icon. Click on the selected meal to add it to the basket.
Next, choose the meal quantity for each consumption date. You can also add a custom date, e.g. for meals on the check-out day.
Depending on your meal item configurations, you can now select time for the meal. Click on the clock icon in the main meal line to apply the same time for all dates, or set the time for each day individually.
There, if you have chosen the maximum available meals option in meal settings, you will see the number of available meals for the selected time.
Additionally, you can add a note for the meal.
Click on the Add note option. There you can write the note or just click on the green dietary restriction tags to quickly add the details. E.g. by clicking twice on the vegetarian tag, it will create such a note: 2x Vegetarian.
Finally, choose Pay Now or Pay Later option to sell the selected meal item.
