Please not that before the arrival date each reservation that comes from an OTA should be cancelled/modified directly by the guest from the online agency level. It is not recommended to cancel/modify manually the reservations in the system while they are still valid on the OTA.
However there are two exceptions:
1. Booking.com - When in the system you mark as a No-show a reservation that came from Booking.com, this reservation will be sent to this OTA.
In the History tab you will be able to see if the information was sent correctly or not.
Please note that this works only for Booking.com. In all the other OTAs this kind of changes have to be done directly in the extranet.
1. HostelWorld - When in the system you mark as No-Show/Cancelled a reservation that came from HostelWorld, the system will ask you if you want to cancel it also on the OTA.
Please note that this works only for HostelWorld.
RECOMMENDATION: We recommend marking HostelWorld bookings as No-show directly from HostelWorld backoffice.
